    • Marriage: PR gives name of John but I believe it to be this Thomas, see copy of marriage licence with same date. Appears to be only JUBB wedding on that day.

      From Martin JUBB re MI in Silkstone churchyard:

      this has sunk into the ground but i have a disc of all monument inscriptions noted down in the year 1958 before they bulldozed the north side of the churchyard.....in 1958 the stone read as thus

      thomas jubb of wiremill died aug 13 1795 age 77yrs
      mary his wife died dec 25 1794 age 81yrs
      mary jubb their daughter died dec 2 1777 age 27yrs
